janny During 2013, the 4chan board /sp/ was used by a large amounts of shitposters. The jannies hated this and constantly shut down all threads related to memes and banned them. However, this did not stop the shitposters and it made them poke fun at the jannies instead. When all of this was happening, a shitposter from /sp/ had the bright idea of representing jannies as Mr. Morris from the show Arthur, which caught on incredibly quickly.
