Jager is a frog with glasses known for his catchphrase, being "The time to be serious is now.". He is often very serious. Legend says he's a stock broker at a big wall street company. The origin of Jager remains unknown, however Jager as a character originated on the Sharty as "an inside joke"[1]
Origins
Origins of Jager are not clear, however it is speculated that Jager originated from 4chan, as with any other frog, what makes Jager different is that the joke of it being different from another type of pepe because it is wearing glasses. The name Jager comes from the song Moves like Jagger and a 3D render of a dancing frog with the same caption.
Important Events
A janny decided that it would be funny to pretend that the site got hacked.[2] The janny in question hid /soy/ and added /jager/ in its place.[3]
